“Without You” by Steve Ray Ladson

Raised in a gospel music family, Steve Ray Ladson began performing professionally as a teenager with his brother and cousins in Gospel quartets. He developed mastery of multiple instruments including banjo, guitar, piano, Hammond organ, bass, accordion, and harmonica. Ladson toured for a decade with six-time Grammy Award winners The Blind Boys of Alabama and collaborated with four-time Grammy nominee Robert Randolph and the Family Band. He rose to national prominence following his standout performance on America's Got Talent Season 20 in 2025, advancing through every round with original compositions including Back of My Truck and earning Sofia Vergara's Golden Buzzer. His original bluegrass single Get Along landed on Spotify's editorial New Grass playlist, and he has released multiple original songs reflecting his Southern heritage and rural roots.
