“Patty Lynn” by Rob Leines
About
Rob Leines (pronounced 'Rawb Line-Es') is a Georgia-born songwriter, guitarist, and road warrior based in Austin, Texas. Raised in a military family that moved between Utah and California, he returned to the South, where he worked as a welder in the oil and gas industries before turning to music full time. His 2021 album Blood Sweat and Beers became his breakthrough release, earning him a year of opening slots for marquee acts including Dwight Yoakam and The Mavericks. That touring momentum led to his third studio album Headcase (June 2024), co-produced with Mike Harmeier (Silverada, formerly Mike and the Moonpies) and Grammy-winning engineer Adam Odor at Yellow Dog Studios in Wimberley, TX. Leines pulls triple duty as songwriter, southern storyteller, and guitar hero, filling his records with tales from the fast lane and punctuating them with amplified riffs honed by a relentless touring schedule.
