About
Born and raised in Southeast Texas, Nick Taylor began his musical career after relocating to Austin, starting to write songs seriously in his mid-twenties. He spent years performing open mics before building a regular gigging schedule and developing a solo acoustic presence. After years of performing locally, he connected with Nashville producers who helped him record his debut album, Not Alone, released in 2024, which established him as an emerging voice in the Americana music space. His songs capture overlooked details of romanticized rural life while exploring the deeper recesses of relationships and home. He performs both as a solo artist and with a band throughout Texas and beyond.
