About
Raised in rural Melissa, Texas, Jackson Scribner grew up obsessed with music, learning guitar at age nine and playing alongside his father and brothers at family gatherings. He released his self-titled debut album in 2021, recorded with producer Jeff Ryan and featuring songs like County Road 497 and I Don't Think About It. His 2025 sophomore album Depression Kids, produced by Stuart Sikes, showcases a fuller band sound built with collaborators including his brother Levi and musicians like Jerome Brock and Tony Hormillosa. The album explores themes of depression and shared human experience through vivid, poetic songwriting backed by sweeping rock-leaning arrangements.
